The ladies have landed! The names and photos of the 30 contestants vying for Nick Viall’s heart were officially released by ABC on Wednesday, December 7.
Viall’s bachelorettes include a “dolphin-loving woman,” a “no-nonsense Southern belle who has Nick in her cross-hairs for a big country wedding,” and “a successful businesswoman who runs her parents multi-million-dollar flooring empire.”
The juiciest tease of all, however, is the introduction of Liz, “a bachelorette who is hiding a big secret about her past involving Nick.”

The girls certainly seem to know how to make a first impression, though we have yet to find out who receives the coveted first impression rose. In its release, ABC promises a “bubbly school teacher” named Sarah, who will race up the driveway to convey to Viall that he isn’t “a ‘runner-up’ in her eyes or heart.” (The season 21 lead was famously the runner-up on not only one season of The Bachelorette, but two.)
Another contestant (Jasmine G.) will boldly enter the mansion with a man—beloved Bachelor jeweler Neil Lane—so that she can show Viall the ring she wants for when he proposes. Then, there’s Alexis—the self-proclaimed “aspiring dolphin trainer” who will show up in… a “dolphin costume.”

Inside the mansion, ABC promises some kisses–and of course, drama. According to the release, Viall has “palpable” chemistry with a contestant named Vanessa, but one contestant will pull the classic villain move by scheming to steal the Bachelor away. This season, her name is Corinne. By the end of the night, only 22 women will receive roses.
