Welcome to… Engaged Life. Actress Heather Matarazzo is engaged to comedian Heather Turman.
The Princess Diaries actress announced her engagement to Turman on Monday, January 15, after the couple’s relationship status changed officially on January 11. The pair, however, opted to keep the proposal private for a few days.
Matarazzo posted a quote from The Alchemist alongside a slideshow with Turman from the serene proposal scene. “There is only that moment, and the incredible certainty that everything under the sun has been written by one hand only,” Matarazzo expressed. “It is the hand that evokes love, and creates a twin soul for every person in the world. Without such love, ones dreams would have no meaning.”
Turman also shared her thoughts from the proposal. “We kept it to ourselves for a few days, but it’s official! I’m engaged to the absolute, unequivocal love of my life,” she continued. “I never knew I could find someone that matches me the way she does, in all ways… always. If Hollywood is my pyramids, then she is my Fatima. This is it. #whenyouknowyouknow #secondtimesacharm.”
The couple first fell for each other while working on the 2016 comedy Stuck. Turman co-wrote and produced the flick. Matarazzo broke out in the film scene after starring in 1996 dark comedy Welcome to the Dollhouse.
