Faith Hill‘s star-spangled performance of the National Anthem at the Stanley Cup Finals this past weekend was inspirational—and no one was more inspired than her husband, Tim McGraw.
As the crowd erupted in applause following the a cappella rendition, McGraw made his way across the ice to his wife of more than 20 years. The country superstars donned matching Nashville Predators jerseys to show their support, and McGraw waved matching yellow towels in the middle of the rink.
The power couple didn’t let their beloved team’s loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins get them down. McGraw posted an adorable Instagram video of the lovebirds kissing in the stands. “Proud of her!” he wrote.
June is shaping up to be a busy month for the country crooners. The music video for their latest single, “Speak to a Girl,” was released earlier this month, and along with its sizzling scenes, the pair belt out a powerful message of mutual love and respect.
“She don’t really care how you’re spending your money; it’s all how you treat her,” Hill croons. “She just wants a friend to be there when she opens her eyes in the morning.”
McGraw chimes in: “She don’t need to hear she’s a queen on a throne, that she’s more than amazing. She just wants you to say what you mean and to mean everything that you’re saying.”
McGraw and Hill, who share three daughters, Gracie, 20, Maggie, 18, and Audrey, 15, will celebrate 21 years of marriage on October 6.
