Eight years ago, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Santa Monica. Less than two months later, they held a second ceremony in Costa Rica, and they’ve been going strong ever since!
To celebrate the couple’s February 26 anniversary, Brady, 39, shared the sweetest photo of the duo laughing on their wedding day. Along with the adorable black-and-white snap, he penned a heartfelt note to his wife.
“And you have kept me laughing ever since… Happy anniversary love of my life! Feliz aniversario! Te amo,” he wrote on Sunday.
A lot has happened in the years since the New England Patriots quarterback and the supermodel, 36, made their love official. Along with Brady’s 9-year-old son John (from a previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan), the couple share two children: Benjamin, 7, and Vivian, 4.
Over the past eight years, Brady has also added to his Superbowl wins; he has a total of five to date. And Bundchen made a grand entrance on the catwalk at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
It seems one secret to this couple’s successful marriage may be their undying support for each other. “Wonderful things come to those who work hard with focus, tireless dedication and who never stop believing,” Bundchen shared, alongside a post-game photo of the couple after Brady’s most-recent Superbowl win. “Forever grateful for this moment. Congratulations my love!!”
