It’s official! British Olympic diver Tom Daley and movie director Dustin Lance Black married this weekend in a scenic English countryside wedding.
The couple married Saturday, May 6, at the Bovey Castle Hotel in Dartmoor, Devon, a short distance away from the diver’s childhood home. Daley took to Instagram to post a photo of himself holding hands with his husband shortly after they were married. Guests applauded the pair as the couple triumphantly celebrated their newfound marriage.
“On 6th May 2017, I married the love of my life, @dlanceblack,” the athlete, 22, expressed. “We shared the day with 120 of our closest friends and family, from Texarkana to Plymouth! Thank you to everyone who made this weekend the most special weekend of our lives!”
Black also took to Instagram to post a tender moment exchanged between the pair. The grooms both wore coordinating Burberry tuxes—Daley in maroon and Black in navy.
Both spouses are equally accomplished in their respective fields. Daley won Bronze at the London Olympics and the games in Rio de Janeiro. Black is an Academy Award-winner, who was honored nearly a decade ago for Best Original Screenplay for the 2008 movie, Milk.
