What happens when two of fashion’s most powerful figures get married? Tory Burch and fashion executive Pierre-Yves Roussel now have the answer.
The couple married at the Mill Reef Club in Antigua this weekend following a nearly three-year engagement. Several of Burch’s close friends, many of whom work in fashion and design, took to social media to post images from the Caribbean nuptials.
Burch and Roussel likely formalized their marital status around Thanksgiving when she teased her wedding the morning of November 23 on Twitter. “I woke up this morning and thought- wow, I am getting married today!” she wrote at the time. “#happy.”

According to a 2016 New York Times piece, the pair first met while Roussel, the former CEO of the LVMH Fashion Group, was stateside to explore the American market for the company and Tory Burch’s brand was in consideration. While the deal didn’t go through, the couple has been dating since 2014.
This is not the first marriage for both parties with Burch sharing three sons with her ex-husband Chris Burch. She was also previously married to real estate developer William Macklowe. (“Briefly,” she told Vanity Fair in a 2007 profile. “For, like, six months. We were like, 22 years old.”) Roussel, meanwhile, shares three sons with his first wife.
