Travis Scott opened up about his relationship with Kylie Jenner in a new interview with Rolling Stone, and the Houston rapper didn’t hold back when he expressed his eagerness to make their love a forever one.
“We’ll get married soon,” he told the magazine. “I just gotta sturdy up—I gotta propose in a fire way.”
Scott, 26, added that the couple’s relationship took off almost as soon as they first crossed paths at Coachella in April 2017, and has only been getting stronger ever since.
“Maybe, like, the first week, you don’t know if it’s real or a fling,” he said of their love story. “Then the second week you’re like, ‘Whoa, I’m still talking to her, she’s responding, I’m responding. We ain’t run out of a thing to say.’ It got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one.’”
Getting to know Jenner more also helped dispel any misconceptions he might have had about the reality TV star and makeup maven. “People don’t understand how real my girl is. How ill she is,” he said. “… I realized what really mattered to her, which is none of this sh-t. She’s the coolest motherf–ker of all time.”
Scott and Jenner, 21, share 10-month-old daughter Stormi, which adds to their joint sense of family. In fact, the couple had talked about kids early on in their relationship, so it wasn’t hard for them to realize that “something special” was happening when they realized they were expecting just a few weeks into their relationship.
Now, Scott said, the proud parents always make sure to make time for “Stormi Saturdays,” regardless of where either of them are in the world. “Even with me on tour, Stormi pulls up,” he said. “She’ll travel. She got more stamps on her passport than a lot of mother f–kers.”
