This is one fast and furious surprise. Tyrese Gibson is married, he announced on social media on Tuesday, February 28, and the wedding took place on Valentine’s Day.
The actor and singer, 38, took to Instagram and shared some images from his nuptials. Gibson’s bride, whose identity remains unknown, wore a rose pink dress with a diamond tiara, while the groom looked dapper in a white tuxedo jacket.
“On Valentine’s Day, February 14th, we said yes!” the video reads. He added in his caption: “Mark 10:8 And the two will become #OneFlesh | -Mr & Mrs Gibson……. #MyBlackQueen#GrownManSeason.”
Before posting the video on Tuesday, Tyrese teased the news by reflecting back on his journey. The actor posted a detailed caption that he had previously shared about his ideal counterpart.
“I’m a KING seeking my QUEEN,” he wrote at the time. “Not just a pretty face….. A classy, sophisticated women with an angel heart…. Heart soooo committed to the Lord Jesus Christ that I feel the pressure to get even closer to HIM in order to attract her even more…. I’m talking about a woman soooooo lady like and in tune with her femininity that she doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body….: She lets a King be a KING!!!!!!”
The Furious 7 star noted in that particular update that he was ready to meet his future wife. “I’m prepared for YOU…. When I meet YOU…… I won’t be single for long I feel it in my soul….” he expressed. On Tuesday, he concluded his post with a final comment.

This is the second marriage for Tyrese, who shares a 9-year-old daughter named Shayla with ex-wife Norma Gibson.
