Yes to that. Vanderpump Rules’ Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwight are getting married. Following a rather tumultuous year that was documented on the Bravo reality show, the couple announced on Thursday, June 7, that they’re engaged alongside a ring photo.
“Omg omg!!!!!!!! We are ENGAGED!” Cartwright wrote on Instagram. “What a way to start our summer and season 7!! I am so happy, so in love, and so beyond excited for this next chapter of our lives! I can’t wait for all of you to see how he proposed! I am the happiest girl ever right now.”
She added, “Love can win” and gave shout-out to jeweler Kyle Chan. The two got engaged in Malibu with Taylor proposing with a brilliant cushion-cut diamond featuring a halo of smaller diamonds and a pave diamond band. Chan announced that the ring itself is 3.14 carats, and E color, with “excellent cut and clarity.”
“She said yes!!! I can’t wait for y’all to see how this happened next season!!!” Taylor added. “I am marrying the woman of my dreams and I could not be happier!!”
The future bride and groom met in Vegas three years ago. Cartwright then moved from Kentucky to Los Angeles, and they faced numerous scandals in their relationship. After a brief split, the two faced the death of Taylor’s father, Ron Cauchi, in December.
