Into the woods — and down the aisle! Vanderpump Rules’ resident lovebirds Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz got married on Wednesday, August 17, in a Northern California wedding.

The couple — who told The Knot in April that they wanted to marry outdoors in a forest — shared details from their magical wedding with E! News on Wednesday. “I’m so happy to have married my best friend and love that I finally get to call Tom my husband,” Maloney told the outlet. “Celebrating with our closest friends and family has been nothing short of an amazing experience.”

The pair exchanged vows before 100 guests, including a handful of their Vanderpump Rules costars. The couple got engaged last July, and Schwartz’s amazing proposal was captured by Bravo’s cameras.

In the months before her wedding, Maloney shared some key planning details with The Knot. “It’s important that our wedding feel intimate,” the reality star noted to us this past spring. “We want to keep it to the people immediate and closest to it – the people who have been there throughout our relationship who a special to us both. We don’t want to be meeting people for the first time on such an intimate special day for us.”

They chose their location with great thought and care. “We want an enchanting forest backdrop and have found some gorgeous venues that we can absolutely see ourselves getting married at,” Maloney told us at the time.  “I really want jewel tones. I love rich colors like emerald, sapphire, fig and amber. I think those colors will work beautifully with a woodsy backdrop.”

Prior to the wedding, the bride and groom celebrated their upcoming nuptials with fellow Bravo personalities Jax Taylor, Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. The group flew to New Orleans for a combined bachelorette and bachelor party, which Maloney spoke to us about in advance.

“We of course will do something separate but think it would be most fun celebrating together. We mostly will plan but also take input from our buddies,” she shared. “Tom tends to go overboard in general,” the bride said she wasn’t “sweating” his plans for a bachelor party saying, “I haven’t given him rules but he obviously knows the limits.”
