Everything is fine in Beckham-land. Superstar couple David and Victoria Beckham addressed rumors of an imminent split on Friday, June 8, calling the social media speculation “an embarrassing waste of time.”

The pair, who will soon mark their 19th wedding anniversary on July 4, released the rather direct response via their rep to British outlet The Sun. “There is no statement due or divorce,” the spokesperson said. “This is just fake social media news. This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.”

The British fashion designer and former Spice Girl also took to Instagram to post a rather pointed message for critics. The proud mom of four posted an image with her youngest child Harper and wrote, “Morning cuddles x So much love… We love and miss u @davidbeckham.”

Just on Thursday, the pair announced their plans to donate their outfits from the Royal Wedding with proceeds raising money for those affected by the Manchester bombing. The attack in 2017 took the lives of 22 people. The Beckhams partnered with Omaze to raise funds for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

The couple married in 1999, and have been especially open about their high-profile romance in recent years. In an interview with the Today show in March 2017, Victoria lavished her husband with praise. “I think that he’s my soul mate. We complement each other,” she mused. “He’s the most incredible husband, fantastic father. He inspires me every day. Not just seeing him with the children and how he treats me. It just works. We’re lucky to have each other.”

As parents to three boys and one girl, the two are very focused on their family. “It is a juggling act constantly,” she said. “I’m lucky that David is the most fantastic father and husband, and he’s great. We’re very equal at home, and we’re a really, really good team.”
