It was one wild wedding for the McCain family. The View co-host took to Instagram on Thanksgiving Day to share the first photo from her ranch wedding to Ben Domenech held days before the holiday.

“We got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout,” McCain wrote, quoting Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash’s song, “Jackson.” The newlywed wife added her wedding date alongside the snapshot—a family photo with her parents, Senator John McCain and Cindy McCain—taken on November 21, at the family’s ranch.

In the snapshot, the bride wears a white lace gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, which she paired with a matching fur stole. Her father poses with a boot due to a minor injury.

According to People, about 100 guests, including those who worked alongside the family on Sen. McCain’s two bids for the presidency in 2000 and 2008, were invited to the affair. The couple married just months after Sen. McCain revealed he was battling stage 4 brain cancer.

Wedding planner Jim Bullock from Events by Showstoppers planned the Western hunting lodge-theme affair. Bullock told People that the party was to be “very 1920s-looking” and included period entertainment like roulette tables, a cigar bar, and more.
