NBC’s The Voice alum and current Miranda Lambert tour mate RaeLynn revealed her stunning new engagement ring on Twitter on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old country singer, who competed under Blake Shelton’s mentorship on season two of the singing competition series, then shared the image on Instagram, showcasing her dazzling oval diamond and introducing her longtime boyfriend, Josh Davis, under a brand new title.
“MEET MY HANDSOME FIANCE” RaeLynn captioned the photo, “Future Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Davis. I can’t believe I get to marry my best friend.” After a string of wedding-themed emojis, the crooner created the hashtag #destinedtobedavis.
According to Us Weekly, Davis, 24, lead the country singer on a scavenger hunt with clues that directed her to important places in the couple’s relationship. Davis got down on one knee at Belmont University in Nashville and proposed to RaeLynn while entertainment photographer Susannah Brittany snapped photos. RaeLynn later shared a photo collage of the proposal on Instagram writing, “Of course I start dancing after he asks me to be his wife,” again with hashtag #destinedtobedavis and photo credit given to Brittany.

The “For a Boy” and “God Made Girls” singer then posted a Dubsmash video of herself dancing to Selena Gomez’s “Good For You” showing off her sparkler while lipsyncing to the song’s diamond-centric lyrics. “My engagement ring brings out my @selenagomez side #imamarquisediamond #destinedtobedavis,” RaeLynn wrote.
Today RaeLynn shared an image of herself sleeping on a plane with her engagement ring front and center, writing, “Wake me up or touch my ring… We will have trouble #5amflights.”

RaeLynn is currently on tour with Miranda Lambert for Lambert’s Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour. The newly-engaged singer also made a brief stop in New York City on Wednesday to perform alongside Martina McBride and fellow Voice alum Cassadee Pope at a private “Women of Country” concert presented by Pandora.
