To Mr. and Mrs. Smith! Jordan Smith, the winner of Season 9 of NBC’s smash reality series, The Voice, married his fiancee, Kristen Denny, this past Saturday, June 25, in Middlesborough, Kentucky.
The bride excitedly took to Instagram to announce the news to the world, sharing a photo of her kissing her new husband at the altar. “Best day ever!” she captioned the pic. “#officiallymrandmrssmith #smithilyeverafter@jordansmithlive.”
Smith made headlines during Season 9 of The Voice when he performed a moving rendition of Sia’s “Chandelier” during his blind audition. All four judges turned their chairs, and he ultimately ended up joining Adam Levine.
Smith proposed to Denny this past New Year’s Day, and proudly announced the engagement news on Instagram. “RINGING in the new year with my future wife!” the singer wrote, alongside a photo of Kristen. “She said YES! #Mr&MrsSmith.”
The couple released an official statement to People confirming their marriage. “We’re beyond excited to announce that we are officially Mr. and Mrs. Smith!” the couple told the mag. “The journey so far has been amazing, and we can’t wait to continue on this path as a married couple. Our wedding has reminded us that we are just two best friends who realized we’re both the same kind of crazy and fell in love.”
