A boogie night for Bey and Jay! Beyonce and Jay Z did not hold back at her 35th birthday party, where they were taped breaking it down together on the star-studded dance floor.

The couple got decked out in ’70s-appropriate attire — she looked amazing in a sparkly, booty-flattering, flared pant-suit, while he threw on a low-cut, paisley-printed button down and a wig. The couple then took to the floor and executed a racy rendition of Soul Train’s line dance.

After their dance, Jay Z and the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, brought out a cake to wish the “Formation” hitmaker a happy birthday. Little Blue Ivy yelled, “Happy birthday, mommy!” and the crowd reacted accordingly.

Guests who received a coveted invite to the party included the birthday girl’s younger sister, Solange Knowles, and the couple’s close friend Usher. Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child besties, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, were also on hand to celebrate the night.

Celebrity couples Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz as well as Sean “Diddy” Combs and Cassie Ventura — who spent some quality time with the pair at a VMAs after-party last Sunday — also showed up to the event in full attire.

After a fun-filled weekend, Beyonce took to Instagram to share a message of gratitude with her friends, family members and fans.

“I just want to say thank you to everyone for all the beautiful and thoughtful birthday wishes,” she wrote. “I am so fortunate to have the love and support of my family, my friends, and my hive. We’ve grown up together and you guys continue to inspire and motivate me everyday. I’m so grateful for every challenge, every smile, every tear, every discovery, every sacrifice, every triumph, every stretch mark, every kiss, every scar. I strive to make you proud. I love YOOOUUUU!!!”

Prior to her enviable birthday weekend, Beyonce spent some quality time with former President Bill Clinton at her husband’s Made in America music festival in Philadelphia. The couple also enjoyed a date night last week at the US Open in NYC, where they cheered on tennis champ Serena Williams.
