Best job ever! It’s been one year since Veronica Silva started her own Malverne, New York–based pet care and chauffeur service, Pawfect for You, which grooms, transports and handles couples’ dogs at any wedding and wedding-related events. The business will even host your dog overnight if you’re having a destination wedding and can’t bring your furry friend along.
The idea first struck Silva while she was planning her own 2016 nuptials to now-husband Joey. The couple wanted to include their rescue pup, JakeBear, in their wedding photos, but couldn’t find someone ready and willing to drive him to the church and reception venue, or to look after him throughout the day.

Now Silva and the Pawfect for You team spend their days giving couples complete peace of mind by showing their sweet dogs a good time. Services include a pet taxi (the company specialty—with seat belts, of course!), pet grooming and wardrobe services (in case your pup wants to rock a tux or flower crown), training, photographer coordination and more. They’ll even help work your dog into a proposal or engagement photo shoot.
