The wait is over! Whitney Port married the love of her life, Tim Rosenman, November 7 in Palm Springs, California.
It seems the former Hills star, 30, who wore a custom wedding dress by Ashi Couture, according to E! News, pulled off her dream day plans perfectly:
“They married at sunset and it was so romantic!” a source told E!. “They seemed so in love when they exchanged vows. Whitney is so happy.”
We’re not surprised. Port has not been shy about sharing her wedding excitement with fans, including some serious enthusiasm about her gown. In an interview with E! News, the bride-to-be, who had originally planned to wear a simple slip dress, admitted: “I feel like I want to do something a little more elaborate, a little more special.” She went on to offer some inside information, stating that her dress has “lots of detail to it.”
The blushing bride first met her husband-to-be on the set of The City in New York in 2008. Rosenman was an associate producer on the reality show, and the pair struck up a friendship, which didn’t evolve into more until early 2012, after the show’s run had ended.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Port admitted to making the first move. “I got his phone number and made up some excuse why I needed to reach him for something…I kind of felt he was never gonna try it with me. He’s not shy, but I know in his past with girls he had difficult making the first move.”
“And I know, because of our jobs—because I was the talent and he was the producer—he wasn’t going to cross that line,” Port explained. “It had to be me, you know.”
The couple has been engaged since late 2013, and Port has been in full-on planning mode ever since. She has, however, found time to relax and unwind with friends, celebrating with two bachelorette getaways, including a weekend in Mexico in early October.
We are anxiously awaiting details of the sunset wedding, which Port planned along with her sister, Ashley, who is a professional wedding planner.
Until then, best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Rosenman!
