Who says the royal wedding has to be all about pomp and circumstance? Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon will lend their comedic stylings (and some very necessary levity!) to the royal wedding this month by reprising their roles as faux broadcasters Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan, HBO announced Tuesday.

“This wedding is going to be a blast,” Ferrell-as-Hosenbeck said in a “statement” through the network. “There will be more luxury packed into that church than all the Bed, Bath & Beyonds combined.”

In a teaser clip released Tuesday, Ferrell sports a ginger beard and red-framed glasses as he attempts to get out from inside a red phone booth. Shannon dons a bright royal blue dress for the occasion, with a bedazzled tiara on her head.

When he’s almost unable to force his way out of the phone booth, Ferrell-as-Hosenbeck admits to having a “stress odor” over the complicated ordeal.

“Do we have any WD-40 around here? I’m not getting back into that death trap again,” he says as Cattigan feigns laughter.

Hosenbeck, as Saturday Night Live fans will remember, is a frequent TV and radio host specializing in physical and mental wellness, having authored more than 30 books on everything from diet to dressing for success.

Cattigan is supposedly a former Miss Arizona, and is also known for her two-episode stint as Assistant D.A. Keller on the fictional L.A. Law. She’s also written books about relationships, co-dependency, marriage and wellness.

Special guests like Tim Meadows (also an SNL alum) are expected to make appearances on the show to help add their two cents about the much-anticipated wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The pair previously hosted together in character for Pasadena’s annual Rose Parade, an appearance that sparked confusion and ire from fans of the parade who didn’t understand that their act was meant to be satirical.

The Royal Wedding Live with Cord and Tish! will air live on Saturday, May 19, at 7:30 a.m. ET/4:30 a.m. PT and then replay in the evening at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT.
